If your seller is unable to say what type of stainless steel your plug is made from it is most likely grade 304. Not a good choice for its intended purpose.
I have found by purchasing penis plugs from China and Pakistan that China plates with stainless and Pakistan uses 408 SS. They both make claims of surgical steel but I have found this to be untrue through material testing. Was this testing a waste of my money? NO!!!!
